Resilience 02:51
Under the sun Once spoke as Gods Screams theatre A phenomenon; Words die waterlogged Hallowed beauty long unseen, Were we hoping that sun would catch the grass Were we hoping that eyes would turn and gasp We were trusting our hearts would last With lonely, bitter masters Were we hoping forgiveness from our class Were we hoping their gaze would see straight past Tools useless as a feast of glass On the house of bitter masters Recycled words to teach the world of your Recycled pain articulated for the Virtue viewing pleasure of the unempathetic mass I hear in every breath the harm cast Sisters born beautiful consilience; The title Refugee a dulling coat on brilliance Hold you closer watch the sun rise softly My love, my strength, Resilience Were we hoping that sun would catch the grass Were we hoping that eyes would turn and gasp We were trusting our hearts would last With lonely, bitter masters When I hold you in tight against my chest The grim weight of all I know you have left Gentle heart beats and long sweet breaths Far away from bitter masters

about

In 2021, Tara 'Eyre' Nelson completed 'Yukon' - twenty pieces of fan music composed throughout 2020 in a year-long celebration of undiscovered independent webcomics and online storytelling.

Now, a sequel to 'Yukon' begins. Three albums each celebrating unique online storytellers in their own way. The first of these - The Pyramid - is an archive of tracks composed for friends, collaborators and clients throughout 2021-2023.

Featuring lush beaches and lighthearted high fantasy scores, all the way to moody chiptune and electro, Eyre is composing for comics again, and The Pyramid is just the beginning.

As with all Yukon albums, The Pyramid is free to download. However, the option to pay has been left enabled for those who wish to donate a token amount to add the album to their Bandcamp fan collections. Alternatively, those who wish to support the composer may do so here:
