Late one evening, on the way to a performance of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, Samuel Read and Thomas Nelson started discussing music.
A few months later saw their first collaboration. Now, at the time of writing, four and a half years have passed. Four and a half years that have seen these two great friends and collaborators support each other, push each others' capabilities, and in the process see them create and run the collective known as Unredacted Productions.

As we at Unredacted Productions prepare ourselves for the challenges of a new decade with new graphic design, new music, new skills and resources, we thought it best to move on from much of our older work. This older work is still available to those intrepid listeners who wish to seek it out on our Patreon. However, for the majority - its composers included - "4.5" is an authoritative celebration of some of the best parts of these four-and-a-half incredible years - a collection of Sam's favourite pieces by Tom from that period, and vice-versa.
