Twenty three astounding collaborators assemble a team of seven remarkable superheroes via the medium of ten extraordinary pieces of music - in the space of a single week.

The Anomalous was a project with one goal: to introduce twenty three unsuspecting individuals to their stunning latent powers of creativity. By granting each one with the time and guidance to collaboratively design a superhero within their groups; in essence to ask them what qualities they perceived to be heroic, seven other-worldly characters were assembled into a team the likes of which the world has never seen before.

Alluding to the style of the great old heroes of the 1930s - Flash Gordon, The Phantom, The Shadow, The Spider, and Commando Cody, David Eyre has realised musical themes for each of these characters, and added four compositions of his own in order to create an album like none other.
